Comaneci was married to American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April 1996. They have one son, Dylan Paul. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy is one of the many business in gymnastics they co-own. Comaneci serves on several boards for charities which include those of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. After a decade, Comaneci continues to be a supporter of many other charitable organizations in her homeland of Romania. This includes those of the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
